This Privacy Policy explains how Hangzhou Star Vision Technology Co., Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications, including FE Exam AI Prep and PE Civil WRE AI Prep (the “Apps”). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Apps.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your email and password, or your Sign in with Apple / Google identifier.
• Study preferences — your target exam date and weekly study budget.
• In-app activity — questions attempted, answer correctness, time spent per question, mock-exam scores, and topic mastery.
• Subscription information — your purchase and subscription status (the payment itself is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive your full card details).
• Diagnostic data — anonymous usage analytics and crash reports used to keep the Apps stable.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location.

3. How we use your information

• Compute your readiness score and recommend your next practice set.
• Build spaced-repetition “wrong-question recovery” queues.
• Provide and manage your subscription and account.
• Maintain stability and improve the Apps.

We do not sell your personal data. Most practice questions and saved explanations are generated offline from publicly available exam specifications, separately from user data. If you choose to use optional live AI features, such as the AI Coach or alternate explanations, we send only the prompt and relevant study context needed to answer your request through our server to an AI model provider. You can keep study-data sharing off and use general AI help instead.

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Apps), on the basis of your consent (e.g. optional analytics), and for our legitimate interests (security and product improvement). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Our service providers (such as Supabase and PostHog) process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the Apps, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own, with appropriate safeguards in place.

We keep your account and study data while your account is active. When you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account), we start deleting your account data immediately and complete deletion from active systems promptly. Residual copies in backups, security logs, or service-provider systems may take up to 30 days to clear. Anonymous, aggregated analytics may be retained longer.

• Access, correct, or export your study history (available in-app at any time).
• Delete your account and associated data in the app, or request deletion on the web at privacy.zhouriwan.com/delete-account.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing such as analytics.
• EEA/UK residents have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

9. Children’s privacy

The Apps are intended for adults preparing for professional engineering exams. They are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and access to stored data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Apps.

我们不出售您的个人数据。大多数练习题与已保存解析由公开考试大纲离线生成, 与用户数据相互独立。如果您主动使用 AI Coach、换一种方式解释等实时 AI 功能,我们会通过服务器 将回答该请求所需的提示词与相关学习上下文发送给 AI 模型提供商。您可以关闭学习数据共享, 仅使用通用 AI 帮助。

我们的服务提供商(如 Supabase、PostHog)在位于美国及其他国家/地区的服务器上处理数据。 使用本应用即表示您理解:您的数据可能被传输至您所在地以外的司法管辖区进行处理,并已采取适当的保护措施。

在您的账户处于活跃状态期间,我们保留您的账户与学习数据。当您在应用内删除账户(设置 → 删除账户)后, 我们会立即开始删除您的账户数据,并尽快从活动系统中完成删除。备份、安全日志或服务提供商系统中的残留副本 最多可能需要 30 天清除。匿名的聚合分析数据可能保留更长时间。

• 随时在应用内访问、更正或导出您的学习记录。
• 在应用内删除您的账户及相关数据,或通过网页 privacy.zhouriwan.com/delete-account 提交删除请求。
• 撤回对分析等可选处理的同意。
• 欧洲经济区/英国居民享有 GDPR 下的权利;加州居民享有 CCPA/CPRA 下的权利。中国境内用户依《个人信息保护法》享有相应权利。

本应用面向准备专业工程考试的成年人,不面向 13 岁以下(欧洲经济区为 16 岁以下)儿童, 我们不会在知情情况下收集其个人数据。
