This Privacy Policy explains how Hangzhou Star Vision Technology Co., Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications, including FE Exam AI Prep (FE Exam AI Prep 2026 on Google Play) and PE Civil WRE AI Prep (the “Apps”). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Apps.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location.
We do not sell your personal data. Our practice questions are generated offline from publicly available exam specifications, separately from user data. When you use an optional live-AI feature (the AI coach, on-demand explanations, or AI diagnoses), the relevant study context — such as the question text, your topic accuracy and mastery scores, and any question you type — is sent to our third-party AI processor (DeepSeek) to generate that response. The core study features work without these AI features.
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Apps), on the basis of your consent (e.g. the optional AI features), and for our legitimate interests (security and product improvement). You may withdraw consent at any time.
We use the following processors, who handle data on our behalf:

Our service providers (such as Supabase and DeepSeek) process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the Apps, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own, with appropriate safeguards in place.
We keep your account and study data while your account is active. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), we remove your account data within 30 days.

The Apps are intended for adults preparing for professional engineering exams. They are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and access to stored data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Apps.
