This Privacy Policy explains how Hangzhou Star Vision Technology Co., Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications, including FE Civil AI Prep (FE Civil Prep AI 2026 on Google Play) and PE Civil WRE AI Prep (the “Apps”). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Apps.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Hangzhou Star Vision Technology Co., Ltd. For any privacy request, contact us at contact@xingshiyu.com.cn.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your email and password, or your Sign in with Apple identifier.
Study preferences — your target exam date and weekly study budget.
In-app activity — questions attempted, answer correctness, time spent per question, mock-exam scores, and topic mastery.
Subscription information — your purchase and subscription status (the payment itself is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive your full card details).
Diagnostic data — anonymous usage analytics and crash reports used to keep the Apps stable.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, or precise location.

3. How we use your information

Compute your readiness score and recommend your next practice set.
Build spaced-repetition “wrong-question recovery” queues.
Provide and manage your subscription and account.
Maintain stability and improve the Apps.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send your personal data to third-party AI model providers — our practice questions are generated offline from publicly available exam specifications, separately from user data.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the Apps), on the basis of your consent (e.g. optional analytics), and for our legitimate interests (security and product improvement). You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Third-party service providers

We use the following processors, who handle data on our behalf:

6. International data transfers

Our service providers (such as Supabase and PostHog) process data on servers located in the United States and other countries. By using the Apps, you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own, with appropriate safeguards in place.

7. Data retention

We keep your account and study data while your account is active. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), we remove your account data within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analytics may be retained longer.

8. Your rights

Access, correct, or export your study history (available in-app at any time).
Delete your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent for optional processing such as analytics.
EEA/UK residents have rights under GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

9. Children’s privacy

The Apps are intended for adults preparing for professional engineering exams. They are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and access to stored data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the Apps.

诊断数据——用于保持应用稳定的匿名使用分析与崩溃报告。

我们不收集您的通讯录、照片或精确位置。

3. 我们如何使用这些信息

计算您的备考就绪度,并推荐下一组练习。
构建基于间隔重复的“错题复盘”队列。
提供并管理您的订阅与账户。
维持稳定性并改进应用。

我们不出售您的个人数据,也不将您的个人数据发送给第三方 AI 模型提供商 ——我们的练习题由公开考试大纲离线生成,与用户数据相互独立。

我们的服务提供商(如 Supabase、PostHog)在位于美国及其他国家/地区的服务器上处理数据。使用本应用即表示您理解:您的数据可能被传输至您所在地以外的司法管辖区进行处理,并已采取适当的保护措施。

6. 数据保留

在您的账户处于活跃状态期间,我们保留您的账户与学习数据。当您删除账户(设置 → 删除账户)后, 我们将在 30 天内删除您的账户数据。匿名的聚合分析数据可能保留更长时间。

7. 您的权利

随时在应用内访问、更正或导出您的学习记录。
删除您的账户及相关数据。
撤回对分析等可选处理的同意。
欧洲经济区/英国居民享有 GDPR 下的权利;加州居民享有 CCPA/CPRA 下的权利。中国境内用户依《个人信息保护法》享有相应权利。

8. 儿童隐私

本应用面向准备专业工程考试的成年人,不面向 13 岁以下(欧洲经济区为 16 岁以下)儿童, 我们不会在知情情况下收集其个人数据。

9. 安全

数据在传输中经过加密(HTTPS/TLS),并对存储数据的访问加以限制。没有任何传输或存储方式是 100% 安全的, 但我们会尽力保护您的信息。

10. 政策变更

我们可能不时更新本政策,届时将修改上方“最后更新”日期;对于重大变更,我们将在应用内进行通知。
